Question 4: Solve this maths problem:
Each one of these square planters is made with three lengths of wood on each side, how many pieces of wood was needed to build each planter?
High Park Project Fact: Community planters for community resilience
These six planters were built by the local community in late 2021 and are looked after by the Friends of High Park’s Green Spaces – a group of High Park residents who are passionate about keeping their neighbourhood looking its best.
The planters are filled with flowers and vegetables. We hope the bees, butterflies and local wildlife will enjoy the flowers that are planted, and local people can enjoy the vegetables that’ll grow. We, at the High Park Project, hope the food grown from these planters will provide a free and healthy food resource for the community.
