Daisy and I would just like to share some pictures from the very successful Easter Family Fun day we held on 16th April 2-4pm! Families enjoyed face painting (provided by Funky Faces), making Easter bonnets and Baskets (provided by mobilecrafts4u), using Brighter Living Partnership’s Smoothie Bike and after all that, running round our Community gardens hunting Easter Eggs! What a fun day!
After a short break, the High Park – Think Family, Think Community project is back!
Community Organiser, Rachel Wheble, has moved on to pastures new and though we’re sad to see her go, we hope to carry on right from the great place she left off.
We are planning some exciting new events over the coming weeks and so please keep an eye on the website, Twitter and Facebook for further details.
In the meantime, we are hoping to speak to as many High Park residents as possible about your visions for the project, and for High Park more broadly and will be running another community consultation in the coming weeks — both online and out and about in the community — so please keep any eye out for that too!
As always, if you have any ideas about positive changes you’d like to see happen in High Park, or you just fancy meeting me, Jennie (the new project organiser), please don’t hesitate to get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
